How it works & who owns it
SGS builds and configures the assistant around your business — your services, FAQs, pricing ranges, hours, service area, and policies — then hands it off to you.
- You own the backend. The live assistant runs on your own AI/API account, so your business owns the usage and billing — no open-ended AI bills land on SGS, and nothing is locked to us.
- Built on your approved info. It answers from your services, pricing approach, hours, service area, and policies — not the open internet.
- It won’t guess. If it isn’t sure, it’s instructed to hand off to your team instead of making something up.
- Guardrails built in. No medical/legal/financial advice; estimates are clearly ballparks, not binding quotes.
- Optional Care Plan. Prefer SGS to host, monitor, and update it (with usage limits)? That’s a separate paid Care Plan — never required.
What you can see & review
You’re never guessing what the assistant did. Every build includes:
- Lead Tracker / customer capture sheet — every submission saved (name, email, phone, address, service, request type, urgency, notes, date, status, source) to a Google Sheet / Airtable / CSV, with an email to you.
- Conversation log — a record of chats so you can see what customers asked.
- Captured leads — name, contact, and a short summary of what they wanted, saved and emailed to you.
- Unanswered / escalated questions — so you can see what to add to its knowledge.
- Common-question themes — what people ask most, to guide your site and services.
Reporting by day / week / month — and an export/download option — can be included as a dashboard or handled under a Care Plan, depending on the scope we agree on.
Owner notifications
When the assistant captures a lead or an urgent request, it can email you the customer’s details and a conversation summary. Urgent/emergency inquiries can be flagged, and we configure the notification rules with you. Optional SMS alerts can be scoped separately where appropriate — email notification is the safe default. If a question is sensitive or the assistant is unsure, it hands off to a human.
Included 30/60/90-day tune-up
Every AI Assistant build includes a launch tune-up period. At 30, 60, and 90 days we review chat patterns — common questions, unanswered or confusing replies, escalations, and lead-capture quality — and make up to one knowledge/configuration update at each checkpoint so the assistant gets sharper. It does not include new integrations, major redesign, unlimited content rewrites, or ongoing monitoring after 90 days unless you’re on a Care Plan.
Booking & calendars
Booking can be handled by linking to your existing Calendly or booking page, by collecting a request for your team to follow up, or by connecting to a full booking flow as a separate scoped build. Not every assistant includes live calendar booking unless that’s scoped.

SGS configures the system; you own and pay ongoing account costs. Anything SGS manages on a recurring basis is covered by a separate paid Care Plan (SGS support time, not third-party usage/subscription fees, unless stated in writing).
