Privacy Policy — God Did It

God Did It (the “App”) is a place to share and read Christian testimonies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this Policy.

1. Information you provide

Account information: when you sign up or sign in, we collect your email address, display name, and (if you provide them) first name, last name, profile photo, location, and short bio.
Authentication: when you sign in with Google, we receive your email and basic profile from Google so we can create or look up your account. We do not receive your Google password.
Testimony content: text you write and post in the App is stored on our servers and shown to other users.
Reactions and saves: emoji reactions and saved testimonies are stored on your device and synced to your account.

2. Information collected automatically

Usage and crash data: when the App crashes, a crash report (no personally identifying information beyond device model, iOS version, and app version) is sent to our servers so we can fix bugs.
Server logs: standard web server logs (IP address, request time, endpoint) are kept for security and debugging.

3. Information we do not collect

We do not collect precise location data. The App may request “When In Use” location only to support future features; it is not transmitted to our servers today.
We do not sell or share your personal information with advertisers.
We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that profile you across apps.

4. How we use information

To create and maintain your account.
To display your testimonies and profile to other users of the App.
To send you optional notifications about new followers, comments, and replies (you can disable these in Profile → Settings).
To investigate bugs, abuse, and security incidents.

5. How we share information

We share information only with:

Other users of the App, for content you post publicly (testimonies, display name, profile photo).
Service providers who run our infrastructure (cloud hosting, push notifications, crash reporting). They process data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality.
Law enforcement, when required by valid legal process.

6. Your choices

You can edit or delete profile information from the Profile tab.
You can delete your testimonies from the App.
You can request full account deletion by emailing Biblefaithapp33@gmail.com. We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
You can disable notifications in iOS Settings → Notifications → God Did It.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data retention and security

We retain account and testimony data for as long as your account is active. Backups are kept for up to 90 days after deletion. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled servers.

9. International users

The App is operated from the United States. By using the App you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced in-app.
